I was raised as a Christian and was Baptized in the church when I reached the age of acknowledgement and understanding. I attended Private School for a short while as well as youth group. My life has been flipped upside down too many times to remember. The majority of my “bad fortune” has been my own choices in life, emotional responses that I have never learned to deal with. I am fucked up, yet trying to do what is right because of my moral/completely immoral upbringing.
I was forced into religion young, therefore growing up with a strong concept of morality (that I did not follow too well.) I could write about my life for days on end, sharing my laundry list of errors; I am not here to do so.
My point is that you cannot blame Religion for this fucked up world. Some people are born prone to addiction, wired with anxiety and fear. Others create small learned behaviors that lead to habits and create a lifestyle that defines them, bad habits that seem hopelessly unbreakable.
Yet in all this confusion I KNOW there is a God who has a specific purpose to this life. We were not some chance creation, some mindless or random accident. God created us with free-will because we are not puppets. He does not string us along as some experiment. We all have a choice in this world and all have basic moral values when born. You cannot blame Religion for people’s poor behavior or “set backs human’s created.
I think you are confusing a lot of these traits with sociopathy. Psychopathy and Sociopathy are significantly different from one another.
Some of my best memories are from the mat. From 2nd grade through Senior year of High School. the friendships are endowing. Simple rules of the mat helped to forge my life. Thank you for the chance and experience of the ” 6 minutes.”
This somewhat ties in with the Customization section, but Widgets have long been a huge advantage of Android over iOS. With iOS 8, Apple finally just implemented "widgets", but they are pretty limited. You can only add them to your Notification Center. Apple opted not to have widgets available on any of your main home screens to "avoid clutter". Um, what? Having widgets on my Android home screens is one of my favorite things about Android.
In the 18th century, Immanuel Kant attempted to show that Hume was wrong by demonstrating that a " transcendental " self, or "I", was a necessary condition of all experience. Therefore, suggested Kant, on the basis of such a self, it is in fact possible to reason both about the conditions and limits of human knowledge. And so long as these limits are respected, reason can be the vehicle of morality, justice, aesthetics, theories of knowledge ( epistemology ), and understanding.
